Well I got liquored (if you wanna call it that) up on the 6 glasses of Manischewitz. That stuff is like coke, addictive and you gotta have more (ehh, either coke, whichever you prefer for those of you wondering). I made it through the night ok, but I just didn't bother to care today. Chicken "sub" on rye (prolly had some bacon in there too I wasn't aware of ). Only 6 more da...aahhhh screw it!
Well, the grass palettes are ordered...At 10:00 tomorrow morning, I will be laying down carpet grass.
The weapons possession charges against the Davidians were legitimate. They were breaking the law, and there is no debate regarding that issue. The *method* in which the warrant was served by the ATF/FBI was the colossal failure. David Koresh maintained a very strict pattern of behavior, entering town on a regular basis and conducting business. The right time to arrest him would have been on one of these occasions, not showing up in cattle trailers with guns at the front door of the compound. What took place after that was even more disgusting. Cutting off electricity and water, playing loud music (pigs being slaughtered) 24 hours a day, and ultimately contributing to the fire (I am convinced of this after having spoken with survivors) was not the correct course of action. The government had a direct role in these deaths.
That won't be necessary, Falcons. I'm in agreement with Jorge on this. Nothing more need be said. Sorry again to interrupt -- didn't think it was worth a new thread but didn't want to pass up an opportunity to agree with one of my arch nemeses. Happy Easter, y'all. Carry on.
Well, if you were a Branch Davidian and thought Koresh was Jesus, then maybe this is the appropriate thread.
AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! That's how I woke up Saturday morning before going out and finishing laying the grass. I forgot that it was not just a matter of laying down grass, but I also had to rake the ground to remove all the debris and clay clumps. Tara and I did the front yard on Friday and it looks GREAT!!! The back yard raking took about four hours and damn if my forearms and biceps wouldn't cramp every time I pulled that rake!!! Tara's son helped out on Saturday. Then, we layed the rest of the grass, but it turns out that we are about three pallettes short, so tomorrow, I will finish laying out those pallettes. Today, we should have final inspection and the meter hooked up. The bricklayer is also supossed to be putting up the front brick wall... The last five plantation style blinds are gong to have to wait for probably Friday after work. Saturday, we are receiving all of our new appliances...Fridge, Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, garbage disposal, and we decided to keep our current oven range. The fence post might start going up on Sunday... Damn I'm tired...
What year is this? Why don't you slap him with your glove and declare "pistols at high noon, you cad!"
