    When: Sunday June 8, 2008 7:30 PM
    Where: Robertson Stadium, Houston, TX
Television: Channel 55 (English), Channel 43 (Spanish)
Radio: 790 AM (English), 850 AM (Spanish)

After unwittingly receiving a week's worth of rest due to the rainout in DC, the Dynamo (3-3-5, 14 points) return home to play Toronto FC (5-3-2, 17 points), who is an up and comer in the competitive Eastern conference. The Reds enjoy the best home support in MLS when they're at BMO Field, so the road is naturally a little less hospitable than Toronto. I believe that we'll be free of international call-ups this weekend, so Pat Onstad should be in goal (although Tony Caig did perform well during New York last week) and Dwayne De Rosario will be back on the field. I am not sure what the status of Eddie Robinson's suspension will be, as the game against DC was postponed, so more on that to come. The Dynamo are offering one of their familiar ticket 4 packs for Sunday (4 end line seats for $60), so that should entice a few people.

Are you going? What are your thoughts?

Eddie will be suspended for this game, so Ianni and Boswell in the back. Boswell has been playing great since getting accustomed to the team and Ianni knows what he needs to do so I don't think it will be a problem.

Toronto likes to bunker and we've shown that bunkers give us problems so far this year. We need an early goal to force them out, otherwise it could be a very boring game.

They will be missing a couple of guys for international duty so it could benefit us.

Dudes. My dad won two tickets from a promotion with a radio station, and they have Saturday, June 7th as the date of the game. What should I do? I called their office number and it says they're only open from Monday Through Friday during normal business hours ( 8:30 am to 5:30 pm ). None of their available options on the main menu answer.

If I show up to the game with those tickets, will they honor them?

Do you all know anyone I can speak to about those tickets?

Also, do you all know if they sell those 4-packs at the game... just in case? I'd like to try this game out with the family.

You'll be alright. The ticket office at Roberston opens at 3:3 pm tomorrow.

    Final Score:
    Houston - 3
    Toronto - 1

Quoted because Toronto's bunker defense really inhibited us in the first half. We had some looks early on, but it settled until De Rosario's goal in 45+. I, for one, initially thought that one was offsides, but was happy that it was not. Ching had a great game, netting two goals. Stuart Holden's assist was very nice as well.

Who else does not approve of the split between El Batallon and the Texian Army? It has caused me to see how small the Army is in comparison and I feel that the competing songs don't work as well as the old unified end used to be.

Moving DeRo up top really worked out well, he was making some great runs last night and it gives us room in the midfield to have Holden play. He's said that he doesn't like playing forward but maybe if results like these keep happening he'll change his mind.

And Ching has really been producing lately, he's been involved in the last 7 goals we've scored in some fashion. He's always been kind of streaky so I guess this is just making up for the drought at the start of the season.

I support the move. Texian Army is small, but we were never going to grow being next to EB. Moving to the South End gives us a chance to establish our own identity and start growing.

I liked being on the Batallon side. I liked their SPANISH songs better... especially the one about the "huevos". :D

I like it that there's that soccer feeling whether you're on the north or the south end of the stadium. Actually... it's a little confusing to the brain, but... they need to at least collaborate on something...

DrLudicrous... I went to the Texian Army side after the game to say hello, but... didn't know if you had left already.

And my nephew and I got to use those tickets with the wrong date. I can't wait to go to the Chicago Fire game... just to see Blanco one last time.

    I thought Toronto's right-side defense got exploited.

They definately have some bad ass songs, and a few of them mention huevos. :D

I should have been there, they keep us in the section until most of the other fans are out of the stadium so I was in the section until about 15 minutes after the game.
