You gotta love the New York Red Bulls. Maybe Rockstar Energy Drink will buy the Houston Dynamo and rename them the Houston Rockstars...
We don't want another name change. Let's just stay with the name that won the MLS championship and in the future, the Superliga championship.
Saturday, June 30 Houston Dynamo at FC Dallas, 5:00 p.m., FSC This is the game I'll be going to up here...I can't wait...I'll probably catch and FC Dallas v LA game too...
If you live in Houston, i think its one of those spanish channels somewhere in between the first 10 channels.
In Houston, Telefutura's call letters are KFTH-TV. I would imagine it should be available on Dish Network but I'm not sure. Here's a list of all the Telefutura affiliates: http://www.univision.net/corp/en/mp_stateTX.jsp
It's one of the local channels on DirecTV (channel 67) so it's probably on Dish as well. MLS has also said that all games have to be broadcast locally, I'm not sure if that means there has to be an English broadcast or not though.
Rumors are that channel 55 (the tube) is currently the likeliest English-language local broadcast home of the Dynamo next year.
It's a beautiful park, I was there for MLS Cup. It's out in the middle of no where though. Frisco is an up and coming city. Lot of strip malls poping up. Just a few hundred yards next to the stadium are grain silos.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised Univision doesn't have any affiliates in the heart of Republican country.
Sunday, Sept. 30 Houston Dynamo at FC Dallas, 2:00 p.m., TeleFutura I will absolutely be at this game. Anyone else planning on going? I'm pretty sure that the Texian Army will be coming up.
Red Bull bought a team in Salzburg too. But, unlike with the MetroStars, they purged all history of the former team.
It looks like the Tube will be showing 15 games this season, and 27 total will be broadcast in English and 16 will be broadcast in Spanish. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/barron/4544861.html
