Some of you might remember this rock band did a funny cover of NWA's "Boyz in the Hood", well apparently they also covered
Ice Cube's "Today Was A Good Day"

except they changed one lyric to:

    Left my homey's house payed,
    Picked up a girl
    been tryin' to do
    since the twelfth grade,
    It's ironic,
    I had the brew,
    she had the chronic,
    The ROCKETS
    beat the Supersonics.

the original version had Lakers not Rockets

Anyone know if they are from Houston?

They also have a pretty nice looking website with some mp3s including this funny song called "6'4" ASIAN"

Well then at least they used Rockets and not Spurs or Mavericks. :)

Just because you live in Austin doesn't mean that you have to like a sh--ty basketball team. Go Rox!

I think so. I saw them on the Farmclub.com show that used to be on USA. I think I actually knew one of the guys in the group, but never confirmed that.
