I just bought a Samsung combination DVD/VHS player for $200 here at Fry's for my mom's mother's day gift. I read reviews on the net and everybody seemed satisfied bout it.
Really? My sister loves the movie and has it on VHS. She wants to buy the DVD cuz of the extra stuff and she loves John Cusack. I am not really a fan of Cameron Crowe also, but you have to check the Jerry Maguire Special Edition DVD. Pretty good and loaded with extra stuff.
Buy an Apex, the company has bad QA, so it may take u a return or 2 to get a good player, but you can't beat the price, and there are some "special features" that are unmatched by most DVD players. I own an Apex 660 (replaced by 3201, which I think is now being replaced by another model), and it works well.
