are u talking about the orlando tmac, which i dont think he'll come close.

the scoring tmac for the rockets, yes.

orlando tmac was on another level that kobe of the last 2 yrs couldn't reach efficiency and all-around wise.

he'll defintely be close to the orlando t-mac, or the kobe of the last 2 years, you cant go wrong with either. i think durant will lead the lead in scoring after two years.

now ur getting ahead of yourself son. lebron was tons better than durant at 18 when he first came into the league and hes nowhere close to kobe in terms of scoring.

don't let the college game fool you. durant will be an all-star in 2-3 yrs, but superstar, we'll see.

remember, 18yr old lebron put up 20, 5, 5. that's even more impressive than durant's yr in college.

If you look at the talent of being an "all-around player", Tracy is top 10 all-time. His skillset and basketball IQ are off the charts but the end product is much lower than the sum of the parts. MJ wasn't the greatest passer in the world but look what he did. If Durant is the assassin I think he is, his attitude on the court and work ethic off the court will more than make up for not being as good a passer. On defense, we will see. He is a MUCH better rebounder than Tracy was at 19, maybe already.

I cannot at this time predict Durant will be better than Tracy, but it definitely won't surprise me. Skills and bball IQ only take you so far when you don't have the guts to execute when it's needed most. I doubt Durant constantly takes the easy/lazy/weakfish way out with jumpers like Tracy because he seems to be a lot less laid back, more mentally tough and focused on the task at hand.

right now its too hard to tell. i think tmac still has the advantages because he possesses everything, he just doesn't have that killer mentality. im pretty sure having to load the amount of scoring that yao and he had to take on, it had a huge effect on him. plus he was basically our PG, so that tells you that he was worn out when we needed him most and that was essentially the 4th quarters. i think durant can rebound better but i'm just reading off from stats because ive never seen the guy play. if he has the determination to become better than the competition, aka like yao, its going to be pretty scary how he turns out.

i also agree on the note that durant is showing signs of an all star but is he a future lebron james or a future vince carter? (either would be interesting but james can take his team to the next level, carter? uhh rightt)
