Except for the cuthshort 99 season, Duncan did what?? He was unable to lead the Spurs to a championship untill: 1. They got him athletic guys who can run/defend/shoot in creative and unpredictable manner. 2. Lakers lost heart. 3. Injuries to just about everyone else. Most dependable, most consistent, most fundamentally sound? DUH. Best player in the league?....Imma say No O-o Dont get me wrong, I love the dood tho Love wathching him play especially aganist other good forwards.
This has to be stupidest thread ever, and that's pretty bad because there have been quite a few bad ones. I am not a Spur fan but with the exception of KG, and Shaq there is no one I would rather have on my team than TD.

Although I do agree that this thread is dumb... Hakeem Olajuwon, in his prime, would wipe the floor with Tim Duncan. So I wouldnt compare the two. But don't get me wrong, Duncan is really good.
