I am in the Grand Hyatt Dubai right now. Pretty huge hotel. Just arrived today...and got a first taste of censorship in this country...wanted to view the website of a German tabloid (largest German newspaper)...and got this...WTF...

Oh, by the way...maybe you also don't want to click on the site of that newspaper, because they have "page 3 girls"...kinda like the "Sun" in the UK.

Don't want anyone to get in trouble at work for this.

Still, I mean, it's one thing if a page like that is blocked at work...but in the whole country?

At least they don't have that stupid dog "Bess" like a lot of schools have. God, if I ever met someone with a dog named Bess, I'd run over their dog when they weren't looking. I had to deal with that stupid filter all the freaking time in HS.

BTW, the ports for AIM and ICQ are also blocked here...the respective web interfaces work, though.

BTW, what themes do you guys recommend for Firefox?

The only reason I had not switched back earlier was that I thought Mozilla was too buggy and it did not display some of my favorite pages properly. I always had the latest Mozilla versions installed, but never used them because of this. Firefox seems better.

Dude, tell me about it. Growing up in Saudi, I am so used to censorship.

In my kiddie movies......(that I can remember....)

In Space Jam, there is a scene where Bugs kisses the girl bunny and they cut that out of the film. Also a scene where an alian butt is shown when his pants are pulled down.

They cut out the most ridicoulous things from the most rediculous movies...

I don't use any themes, I keep the default.

    I use these extensions though:
    BugMeNot
    Paste and Go
    All in one Gestures
    Download Statusbar
    BBCode
    Autofill
    Sage RSS
    Tab Extensions

anyone know of any other useful extensions?

also remember to learn all the shortcuts, makes life so much easier

Is there a shortcut to reload all tabs at the same time? Thanks!

I'm not sure, I know you can do it from the menu but I don't know if you can assign a shortcut to it

One more question, how do you just set the browser so that after you close it with a bunch of tabs open, when you re-open it, these same tabs (reloaded) will be open again? I just set all that stuff, and when I restarted the browser, all tabs were gone!

Damn, I am feeling like Lil Pun! :D

Well, I installed an extension called "Tab Clicking Options", and assigned the shortcut "Double Click on a Tab" to reloading all tabs. If I double-click on the Tab Bar, I add a new tab.

    Go into the Tab Options

    Tab>Pref.>Startup>Check Restore last tab session

remember you have to have Tab Browser Extensions
