What package do I need if I want to watch all the Rocket games? I really have no clue, I don't watch tv much. It sucks catching only 15 or so games a year on channel 20/51.

Call them and tell them you want the package with FSN Houston. Here the package I get with all the local sports networks (and some not local) is called the Sports pak. I pay like 12 bucks a month for it.

Dish Network offers (at least they used to before I went to Comcast) the Houston Sports packages for around 5 bucks a month. You pretty much got every Astros and Rockets game. Maybe Directv has something like that.

Thanks mateys. I found it on DTV's website. I wasn't sure if I could get away with the $12 sports pack or if I had to pony up $200 for LP.

Can't wait till the season starts !! :)

If you do not live in the Houston market, you will have to get League Pass.
I have FSN Southwest, but because I live in San Antonio, I get Spurs games on that channel. Even if you get FSN-Houston, the games will be blacked out.

Unless you live in the Houston market you are going to have to buy League Pass, if you want to watch the Rockets. Even if you get the all inclusive sports package, all NBA games will be blacked out of the regional channels.

Thanks JJ, fortunately, I do live in Houston

This is good to know if I ever move outside of Houston.

What is "DTV"? Do you mean Digital TeleVision?

Ditch DirecTV... get u-Verse and I'll share some money if you do a referral through me (email me through the board if interested). :)

Make sure you get the HD package with FSNHD in ANY dish or cable package, as all Rockets' and Astros' home games will be in High Definition.
