Am I the only one who feels disgusted and insulted after spending time reading dreamcasts..... According to the Rocks forum we are going to field a lineup of

    Jason Kidd
    Wally Sczerbiak
    TMac
    Tyson Chandler
    Yao

Please don't waste my time with trade idea after trade idea without any regard to salaries, possibility or reality. It really bothers me, I am probably singular in the extent that it bothers me but I really really hate it so much I have to stay away from that forum for a while to calm down and not flame every trade idea I read. It seems like people used to actually make realistic trade ideas on this board but I haven't seen one in a while.

    hello legrouper

i think the rockets should sing karl malone and matt maloney

then they can trade mo taylor and draft picks for shaq daddy

    this would give us

    pg maloney
    sg t-mac
    pf yao
    c shaq
    sf karl malone

pretty good lineup we could win

Not sure if this is the right forum......................but

I hear ya. Ive learned to live with it. Its actually quite comical watching our resident trade nuts try to play Armchair GM.

I wonder how much armchair GM's get paid.... That could be my summer job!

Oh wait! They don't get paid for being an armchair GM.... nevermind.

definitely the wrong forum, but here goes...

we trade Yao and T-mac for Luke Walton and Kareem Rush...

then we trade JJackson for Cato...

then we trade Gaines for Jason Kidd

lastly, we trade then, we'll go with JHoward for KG...

    We win the championship...

No, it's in the right forum. I didn't want to post it in the Rockets forum because I might seem like I was bashing the current dreamcasters when really I don't want to single them out. I was just curious if everyone likes reading that crap or if the consensus was more in line with how I felt.

But Legrouper the Hangout is our sactuary away from the garm stuff. Please don't bring the Garm in here, I beg you. Send it to the feedback forum instead or something.

Speaking of which, I'd rather have this lineup (to adapt this thread to Hangout standards):

PG: Jessica Alba - 5'7; athletic; can probably run a play and fast break; quick
SG: Elisha Cuthbert - 5'6"; just needs to shoot; good handles; probably pretty mobile; a favorite of the coach :)
SF: Charlize Theron - 5'11"; athletic; can probably clean the glass well; runs and defends; causes mismatches with height
PF: Catherine Zeta-Jones - 5'8"; voluptuous and curvy (i.e. not a waif); can muscle out other chicks; has a mean streak
C: Uma Thurman - 6'0"; emotional leader of team; smart and wily; can score with back to the basket

    Bench:

Angelina Jolie - 5'7"; can handle either guard position; fiery veteran
Jennifer Aniston - 5'5"; backup PG; plays well when motivated; inconsistent scorer
Catherine Bell - 5'10"; instant offense off the bench; candidate for "6th Woman of the Year"
Anna Nicole Smith (pre-TrimSpa) - 5'11"; can clog the middle; as mobile as Gheorghe Muresan; can block a few shots; albatross contract
Halle Berry - 5'7"; having a down year, but still productive; an "energy guy"
Lucy Lawless - 5'10"; the aggressive "enforcer" of the team; defensive stalwart; prone to stupid fouls and technicals
Amanda Bynes - 5'7"; 1st round pick and project; garbage time player

The consensus is that this happens every year and every year a thread (actually several like this) is started. It's part of the summer doldrums. And yeah, it's technically in the wrong forum. By the way, you can see by the responses above what happens to these threads in the BS Forum. :)
