    Reggie could have bolted.
Some say should have bolted. . . as indiana
    went into Rebuilding mode.

    But he didn't
    He stayed
    He will retire a pacer
He will have been a Pacer for his NBA Life
We will goto the Hall having only been a pacer

DREAM . . be like reggie
    NOT LIKE PATRICK!!

    Rocket River
I give Reggie mega props for fighting it out this year

Dream, be like Reggie only in that you stay with your original team your whole career. Other than that, be like Reggie in almost no other aspects of his game or personality.

Wow, a thread that involves my 2 favorite NBA players of all time. Never thought I'd see it in the Rockets forum. [IMG]

I'm sorry, but ever since Reggie's "Drexler comment," I've never looked at the guy the same way. Not to say I liked him before, but he's officially on my b****list.

To resist is to piss in the wind,
Anyone who does will end up smelling,
Knowing this why do I defy,
Cuz my inner voice is yelling.

Reggie had said something to the effect of how he himself does not want to be like Clyde. He doesnt want to abandon his team and go win a championship somewhere else. That is the reason he didnt sign with LA last year. But what this idiot is forgetting is that when Clyde was traded to the Rockets we were stinking up the joint and no one thought we would win again.

No comparison! Dream has done more, achieve more and despite the fact that you can't really compare positions, has contributed a lot more in defining his position than Miller has in his.

Reggie was playing for a playoff team for Indiana and thought they would be back in the playoffs the next year. He knew he would still have a chance to win.
Dream hasn't been in the playoffs ina couple years and the year before we were .500 and lost in the 1st round. If we put all our eggs in the Webber basket and it doesn't work then we will not be in the playoffs next year either (especially if Mo leaves).
That is the difference. Reggie could still play on a playoff team and Dream may not get the opportunity unless we make some changes and if we do make changes we may not have cap room to keep Dream anyways.
