I was bored so I checked our draft picks from the last 17 years most of them except Dream ,Cassel,Horry,Mobley,Harington,Dickerson and KT were trash, and I was shocked to see all the great players that we missed . I did a scenario of the best players we could have picked : Pg R.Strickland (88)/*S.Cassel (93)/Alvin Williams (97) Sg Mj (84)/Spud Webb (85)/M.Elie (85)/J.Hornacek (86) /*C.Mobley (98) /C.Alexander (00) Sf L.Sprewell(92)/R.Fox (91)/R.Lewis (98)/*R.Jefferson Pf A.Davis (90)/Ac Green (85)/Rodman (86)/*O.Harington (96)/M.Rose (96)/Z.Randolph (01) C Sabonis (86)/E.Campbell (90)/J.White (98)/Booth (99)/T.MacCulloch (99) With those players we could have won at least 10 Titles Probably some of them would have left us but imagine today our Lineup Without any free agent Dream Dynasty Pg Francis(99 trade)/S.Cassel /A.Williams /R.Strickland Sg Mj/Cat/C.Alexander Sf Spree/Lewis/Fox Pf A.Davis/J.White/Randolph or Griffin C Sabonis/E.Campbell/Booth/Macculloch
Yeah, it's too bad the Rockets didn't find every gem in history. Since you have so much time, why don't you go do one of those for another NBA team? I can almost assure you the percentage of gems we missed is less than other teams... P.S. The majority of picks we had besides the players you listed were second rounders. Go look at the average second rounder, or even the average pick at 15 or under, and you'll see just how hard it is to find a late gem.
