They just showed an up close interview with The Dream. It looks like it's at his home. They talk about how great of a career he's had and how he was the center that had it all. They also asked him about Stockton's shot in the western conference finals that kept us from playing The Bulls and what he thought would have happend if we played them. He said that his comeback was always the same, anything can happen in the playoffs and that the record shows that The Rockets were beating The Bulls consistenly for about 5 years at that time. They also pointed out how he leads the team in all the important categories. He talked about playing next year, but didn't say where. It was a great interview.

Every time I see Dream interviewed, I believe my signature more.

Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is the greatest player in the history of basketball. If you disagree, you are not a Rocket fan.

In the same interview Dream mentioned that the two years we won the title, the argument "mj was out" was irrelevant. Dream mentioned that if you look at the games played during our championship runs, it was the match ups at center that made those games. Dream vs. Ewing, Robinson and Shaq... Dream mentioned he played against the best centers in the league at that time, and that guards don't make the game, at that time, the centers did!

It was a very good segment and the whole time I was watching, one word with many different meanings went through my head. RESPECT. Respect for the game, his teammates and the other players.

It was truly a class interview. It aired on NBA2Night on ESPN2.

I was moved by it and saddened that he wouldn't finish the season.
Maybe he'll pull a "Barkley" and play the last game of the season for a minute or so?

I'm still crushed that in a few days time not checking this site all this happened!!!

Not even a respectful mention of it here at Albuquerque. [IMG]
