So I am just wondering. What kind of Draft picks do we have left going into next season after the Harden trade. Does anyone know?
So this coming year we have our first round pick (unless we make the playoffs) and Dallas's first, top 20 protected right?
Actually i don't think we have a pick at all for the next few years, think Les gave those to comcast too
Just to give an update on the status of the Rockets' future draft picks: By winning last night, combined with Minnesota losing, the Rockets officially out-played the (top-40) protection on their 2013 second round pick. This means that both (1) the Atlanta Hawks now own the Rockets' 2013 second round pick (from the trade to acquire David Andersen) and (2) the Milwaukee Bucks now own the Rockets' 2014 second round pick (from the Dalembert trade to move up from #14 to #12 in the 2012 NBA Draft). If Houston makes the playoffs, the Rockets will also convey their 2013 first round pick to Atlanta but will be free (from and after the 2013 NBA Draft) to trade any of their own future first round picks in non-consecutive years. The Rockets still own the following picks: --Phoenix's 2013 second round pick (from the Marcus Morris trade), expected to be in the 33-37 range --New York's 2014 and 2015 second round picks (from the Marcus Camby sign-and-trade deal) --A highly conditional L.A. Clippers' 2015 second round pick (via Toronto, from the trading away of David Andersen), which will only be conveyed to Houston if the Clippers' pick is between 51-55.
Not a bad year to not have a first rounder, and after 2009- I'm not too worried about us not having any 2nd rounders. If there's a 2nd round pick worth getting, Morey will get it.
I don't really follow college. Who are some likely players for us to pick up with the Phoenix pick(roughly 35th pick). Bima, I read somewhere that there were some "future considerations" coming from Sac. on the Robinson trade. Was this misinformation from an early report and what exactly are "future considerations".
Nah, no future considerations coming from Sacramento . . . unless you count Aaron Brooks. It's probably too early to pinpoint guys who will be available in the mid-30s, since pre-draft camps and workouts can vault/plunge different guys from/into that range.
