Dr. Shipman, an English serial killer, claimed at least 215 victims over a 23 year period. I had heard about this guy earlier, but not the extent. His victims were elderly women in his care, and Shipman was only caught because of his habit of forging victims' wills in order to get ahold of their money. Currently there is a huge uproar in the Greater Manchester area over the fact that an initial investigation into this mass murderer exonnerated him of any wrongdoing, and set him free to claim further victims, at least 3 of which occured after the intial investigation. 215+...and a doctor. Wow. I had thought that the Russian guy, the basis of Citizen X, was the highest recorded serial killer, with something approaching 100...
