It was just 2 months ago, and personally , I think they needed the win against Celtics just as much if not more.
good post BUT i agree with the majority of fans in here im disgusted with Tracy at this point and its been a couple of days............U bring up all these players Shaq, Pippen, Dumars, Parish, Kobe, Wade, Dream and Jordan and along with their huge egos they also ALL have championship RINGS in common tracy as we all know hasnt got out of the first round all those players above are allowed (although i dont know why they cant cheer for a teammate) to have egos that allow them to not clap or cheer for a teammate when their team seals a victory to avoid a 4 game losing streak against the defending champs in their building. To me if Tracy is not the focus of the team he finds a way to be the focus of the team by being the cancer of the team............obvisouly this is YAOs team now and with the addition of artest Tracy needs to do something to still be the center of attention on this team. U list all his accomplishments in the NBA and funny all of those things are INDIVIDUAL accomplishments. its cool if tracy has an ego but ummm please remind me WHY???? if anyone should have an ego on this team it should be BRENT BARRY he has a ring but even brent was cheering on his teammates
In Mac we trust! I can't believe this thread actually got up to 17th pages when the last time i posted at page 5. WTH is wrong with these ppl bashing on T-mac. If you can't tell that T-mac's injured from watching the games on TV, then i am sure u've never watch a healthy T-mac played in your life. First you guys started to bash his effort now his emotion? What's the next thing u gonna bash about? His Wife? His Kids? wth mang.. Get over it. I understand we that we all want the Rockets the best they could but unfortunately injuries happened and history has shown us that rockets are not a very durable team. The big Three we have had a long history of sitting out games from injuries and we just have to face the fact and deal with that. Now you are bashing his emotions after u done with his poor performance? Imagine he comes to this boards and read the trash u created on this site. Concluding that the fans not even supporting him after all the efforts he put into the rockets after all these years. How can one imagine that he will ever play good again given all the negative supports he has received from the media and FANS!
Just look at it this way pal. Why don't you try to put yourself in his shoes. At the beginning of the season when you tried to get your team to a good start. You bared the injury you are having and play until Shane returned from the recovery. After that you are being called "WEAK MINDED" "WUSSY" "MACLAZY" both from the media and the fan site. So you have your chance to sit out and rest your injury for a couple of game. When you return to the line up and realized that you have aggravated the injury from playing earlier. You tried to shut everyone up by playing through the injury AGAIN but this time you didn't just lose your vertical and quickness instead you are literally LIMPING all over the places. Then you are forced to take another route to help the team. Meanwhile all your fans are creating posts saying how weak you are, how the organization should trade you to another team and stuff as such. Maybe you might counter my point of view by saying that he's getting paid 22 mil per year and he should be more professional about his recent act. Yeah that's only true if he gets what he DESERVES which is the support from the Fans. Having a 22mil salary doesn't make you less human than others you know.
He makes millions of dollars so that you can vent and whine of hoe much he is making. When he signed that deal for Magic and if it was for 3M/year, would you say it was a great deal for Orlando or would you be ripping the league for letting sign such talent for so low. I bet you would be all over the NBA dish. Briefly reading your posts, I would probably bet you were not even on any Rockets game. Maybe he has mental issues, but so do you. Ka ching!
hmm...I can't remember but are you the same person who posted a thread about TMac smiling on the bench during a loss last season? I know he's struggling right now, but cmon the guy barely shows emotion on the court why would you expect him to on the bench??
Do you see anybody hear whining about how much Luther Head is making? Like it or not that's the issue. If LeBron was on this team I wouldn't be criticizing his salary. He's a steal regardless of what the Cavs are paying him. Like it or not T-Mac is not good value on the dollar. If he was making Head money I'd be happy and so would everybody else. If he was playing like LeBron I'd be happy and so would everybody else. About the only people here who don't think he's overpaid are his fanbois.
Please be real, Shane could have had a big frown on his face with a sign saying, "I hate these guys" and most of you would have still made this thread to bash Tracy. The truth is simple. Rockets fans are some of the most hypocritical fans ever but then again Houston fans are that way in general. You have true fans and then you have the rest (80% or more). Tracy is bashed for being honest. He's bashed for being too brash when he scowls. He's bashed for scoring 41 instead of 42 points. He's bashed when he gives a perfect pass to someone who doesn't score. He's bashed for not beating double or triple teams. He's bashed for playing when hurt. He's bashed for not playing when hurt. He bashed for making everything look effortless on the court. He bashed for facilitating when no one else seems to want to do it. He bashed for throwing passes to Yao, when Yao misses them. He's bashed for other players looking at him instead doing what they were paid to do. He is bashed for not kissing babies in the stands. Ok that one was made up; but if I didn't say that is was a lie I bet that would be the next lame thread on this site. This site should be renamed--Ficklefans because this has gotten to be extremely ridiculous!!!
Actually, Tracy has never been criticized (collectively as a forum) for all of the things you mentioned except for not giving 100% effort.
I watched the game and it seem T-mac was in to it. I even seen him come off the bench and high five some of the guys during time outs.
Hence, the "collectively as the forum" part. Obviously, given the 30k members of this forum, some form of every negative thing imaginable has been said about Tmac, but they don't reflect the overall sentiment.
ok ill admit his presence was good for us. Since ron didnt play. But that doesnt give mcgrady any kudos from me. Sorry it isnt selling me after 1 game.
