It was probably a little hard to swallow that his replacement hit the game breaker, leading to a win over one of the best teams in the league. Especially when he just participated in a lousy loss to a mediocre team.

He's not the worst scum in the world but i think the issue everyone has is that he makes more than Artest and Shane combined.

As lifelong president of the fan club of a terrible player, you hardly seem like the one in a position to call for "Rookiefying" anyone.

I am interested, though, to see your views on my Mini-T-mac versus Bizarro V-Span match-up.

My personal opinion.... I don't mean to get all drastic like DD, but i think he needs to be benched. Healthy or not. Bench him. i have a problem with Adelman. JVG would have the b@lls to make him earn his playing time. If Wafer and Head are putting up similar numbers, bench him. I say we roll with Yao, Scola, Shane, Ron, and Rafer.
Yao, Scola, or Ron on the floor at all times, and rotate Brooks, Barry, Wafer or Head depending on who's hot, and Landry. Bring Chuck and Deke in for defense. I say roll with that. He's not hungry enough to start. I say let him sit then after next season let him walk or take a drastic pay cut.
But, with a mentally and physically healthy TMac, we are a legit contender definitely. You can't discount his talent, and i don't think anyone is. His competitiveness and desire are being questioned.

Another stupid thread. I swear, some of you guys would rather b**** than enjoy a great Rockets victory.

I am no president of a fan club for any player, I only care about the Rockets.

However, if you are refering to VSpan you are making an incomplete point, you discern that he was a bad player by the struggles of his rookie year.

Glad Morey doesn't think like that or else A Brooks would be long gone...Whew !

On LP (Celtics broadcast) you can very clearly see TMac reach out and give Wafer a pound after Wafer circles in behind him. Actually you only see TMac's left arm, but it is VERY clear as no one else was wearing a brown corduroy jacket.

Purely for the enjoyment of Clutchfans it also happened at the exact moment the FSN broadcast goes back to the replay of Wafer's 3. :p

However, TMac was not looking at Wafer and his face was fairly expressionless at that moment. Later he has a sort of half-grin on his face. To me, TMac was being reserved as is usually is.

I think someone earlier nailed it....he is pouting and probably did not like seeing his replacement as the guy that makes the shot.

My guess (yes, guess) is that in his head he was probably going "Oh great, now I get to hear that the team may be better off without me, just one more thing..ugh"

    :D

It would be easy to say he's pouting if he wasn't always so -blah- on the bench, but it's hard to say because 99/100 he barely shows any emotion whatsoever. Usually a golf clap from TMac is the equivalent for him of Deke jumping up and down.

Like you say, it's anybody's guess.

why is everyone bashing t-mac. i mean when battier was injured, he wasn't screaming or doing anything. he sat there like he should. last night when denver played against heat, melo wasn't a cheerleader. he wasn't like "omg, good job fellas!!!" there's no point in bashing him even he's not playing. personally, i didn't care as long as he is 100% HEALTHY,CAN ACTUALLY STAY CONSISTENT EVERY GAME, AND NOT BE LAZY ON BOTH ENDS OF THE COURT

While I don't complain about T-Mac much myself, especially when he doesn't play, don't you think its somewhat justified?

    $21 million?
    Giving up layups, dunks?
When we finally have the pieces?
averaging 8 points this month, or something?

Again, I'm not concerned because I'm sure he can improve. But lets face it, this year's T-Mac bashing is somewhat justified. And I HATE to admit it. It's just been inexcusable.

Like many others have already said: rest until you are "healthy" or don't play at all. Don't limp, give up dunks, and then complain. It's not good for anyone.

Personally, I think it ruins the team's chemistry when you give up open dunks and layups.

Cheering isnt an issue if he gives 100% on the court. But does he? That play against Moon at the raptors game speaks louder than any cheering.

McGrady would not be hated as much as he is right now if he wasn't as loved as he is. It's hard and frustrating for everyone, and that will continue to some degree until he's healthy.

He's the star and he deserves the criticism. He's always answered it in the past and I have no doubt that he'll have the final say this time around as well.

We beat BOSTON! Everyone needs to calm down some.

Bogus, Dude litterally leaped out of his skin when he scored 13 pts in 35 seconds. Stop with the no emotion thing. He only has emotion for himself and that is a poor teammate. His prima donna attitude is killing this squad. Cheering your team on should be expected not asked for.

Because we had basically won that game.

When Artest hit the 3 against Dallas and he jumped up the 3 was basically the dagger. T-mac jumped up and showed emotion.

Yao made the putback against Boston last night which was the dagger. He got up and cheered.

All this says is T-mac doesn't really celebrate unless he is for sure the game is over.

Good points. It's not like the game was won when Wafer hit the three. And, it's a regular season game.

After that Roy 35-footer to beat the Rockets this season, I too like to wait until the buzzer to celebrate.
