It's clear he's no Deke, and maybe he is more of a silent supporter, the smiling you mention doesn't look much different than the sly smile that seems to be plastered to his face in almost any situation. If anything, I think there just isn't enough conclusive evidence. Maybe he was elated when Wafer hit the shot initially, but we are unable to see because the camera isn't focused on the Rocket's bench. Since Tmac is going to be sitting out more down the road people will just need to keep an eye on him over time to try and make a conclusion on his behavior over an extended period.

Whoever said it earlier was right on. If people want to see something negative out of Tracy, that's what they are going to see. It's unfortunate to an extent, but you have to ask yourself why Tmac has so many detractors all of the sudden.

More than that....look at the very end, I wish you would have let it go a bit longer Clutch....everyone is up on the Rockets bench......but not Tmac.

One thing people should be aware of, the reason that Tmac is relevent and the discussion of what he does or doesn't do...is because he is or was the leader of this team and is it's highest paid player.

A leader leads...even when they are on the bench, he leads....you can not be saddled paying leadership money to a player who just won't do the job.

Tracy is addicted to being TMac, but is not addicted to winning or leading....that is the problem.

If you are a teamate of a guy like that it would be unbelievably frustrating....I said it earlier, but Tmac is the sort of officer that you shoot in the back in the field to save the rest of the soldiers......ship him off now....let him be Tmac with the ball and the 1st round loses somewhere else.

    Orlando....you were right all along.

LOL. Where do you get this stuff? I hope you actually have military experience to be saying ridiculous ***** like that.

For what its worth, I never really remember Yao jumping up and down and hollering on the bench when he was injured over the last 3 years. Seems he usually had a pained expression as well. Maybe players feel bad when they are not able to play and help the team? Is that such a ridiculous thought?

It is not a ridiculous thought at all. It is a very good thought. I just wish it were true.

lol, tmac does not get himself excited in the games he played. Yeah, the occasional fist pump, and thats it. Its like yao saying that " you cant ******* stop me". Maybe in that spur of a moment, other than that, tmac is always very placid.

Maybe he show more emotion if his playing like in the beginning of the season. But seriously, you are disgusted that tmac is being himself?

Don't worry DD, I don't think we will see T-Mac in a rocket uniform past this summer. We just have to endure T-Macs attitude for a few more months and Morey will put two in the back of T-Mac's head this summer by trading him out east. I don't see Morey, Les and Adelman rolling the dice for another season with Tracy. This was the straw that broke the camels back.

Talented, but unmotivated with no passion, no heart, no drive. Mentally weak, soft and not a very hard worker. When things don't go right, he doesn't know how to sux it up and work threw it, he just quits. A born loser!

If Tmac has become a cancer, I think the team would deal with him, or deal him sooner than that.

They are good enough with a healthy Ron and Battier to compete with what they have....and if they can get a piece or two by trading McGrady, then they could be even better.

The real question is will the TMac only fans still hang around or will they dissappear?

I will be honest I thought the same thing, but I was watching the Boston feed so I just figured I was missing his cheering because they weren't showing the bench.

There is something wrong with a guy being handed a team that can win it all and then letting everything go haywire.

This should be all about team, no individuals, team.

Not getting touches, that's okay I'll get a stop and make a difference that way.
Not getting shots, that's okay I'll get a hockey assist.
Not making baskets, that's okay I'll hustle for an offensive rebound.

    I just don't get it.

hilarious. i come in here expecting good thoughts about the tremendous win and the first thread i see is a massive 15 pager b****ing about t-mac's reactions on the bench.

jesus people. you enjoy drama more than a good win. pathetic.

I would be lying if I said I didn't notice, what's funny to me its in stark contrast to the beginning of the season, I believe in Dallas he wasn't playing in a close fourth quarter and he was up cheering the whole time. He's clearly a little down, is it making him a bad teamate, I would think everyone in the league is used to tmac's emotional swings by now.

he wasnt cheering because it's not his style and i think his shoulder or is it his back no i mean his knee was hurting him too much and the effect of clapping his palms together might keep him out even longer with a chipped fingernail or a broken hand u never know with T.........................and plus it wasnt on ESPN or TNT

No we are just being consistent. So guys like you cannot say something like "Where are you TMac bashers when the team won?"

So here I am. I do enjoy the win. But I am also fed up with Grady's indifference and lack of effort. I don't hate TMac. I hate anyone and everyone that slacks off in my team.

you're right, i should've avoided it, but it was just to easy. i'll go enjoy this win instead of trying to spread gossip like the neigborhood sewing circle. don't forget to talk about which one of your neighbors is sleeping around on her husband. and how that one it terrible at keeping her house. the dust!

hey, i'm with you. and i've definitely turned a corner on my feelings about t-mac. he has to go. but b**** about him when he gives a lackluster effort in a game. this whole "he doesn't cheer enough on the sidelines" bit is weak sauce. especially after a huge win.

I am downright disgusted that there is a thread as long as this about whether TMac was happy or not. Jesus Christ.

Some people here are just crazy or just that dumb. You know, every reason is good to blame a player if you HATE HIM.
