downloading question

    i know theres some computer people here... i'm trying to download about 40 songs from this website however i can only get 2 going at a time. it won't let me start downloading a third until one of the others is complete. is this something set up from their end or can i change some settings on windows or internet explorer. thanks alot !

    it is set up usually from their side, but you can get programs that will let you do more than 2 at a time
    ex getright
    but that is not free anymore

    ahh, too bad, guess i'll just sit and wait. i forgot about getright, haven't used that in a long, long time. thanks.

    It's really easy, it's something to do with your registry. I don't do it because I know the two dl's at a time limit is there to prevent people like you from leeching and hogging all the bandwidth, but if you really wanted to just Google registry hacks, and you should find it okay.

    I've always been told that Roadrunner limits the port access for programs like Kazaa, and that there's a way to open up all available ports and bypass their bandwidth-conserving methods...

    Does anybody know how to do that? Or is that just a total myth?
