Is it just a disease that all NBA teams go through to lose complete focus from a previous game just because they are up
    2-0???

Do you honestly think the Rockets can and will rebound on sat??

I dont think it's loss of foucs lost us game. We went a quick route trying to put away Dallas when we were up by 8. We panicked when Dallas got close, wasnt poised enough. The game was still a toss up and Dallas couldnt play any better. This Dallas team only knows it needs to score to win, but doesnt really try to play a consistent system ball. We play our ball in Game4, we will win.

If only you and the others were in the lower bowl...Did the Rockets hand out anything as fans were entering the arena? Are we the only team that isnt handing out clappers?? Game 2 in Dallas they had the clappers in the cup holders in the seats when we got there. The clappers would help in Houston so the "fat cats" (great nickname tigermission1) in the lower bowl can use one hand for the clapper and the other to eat their food...

I have faith the ROX can and will pull it out Sat. I just wished they would have known that winning this game would have been HUGE.

Isn't there a chance that the Rox will come out with lack of urgency like tonight on Sat?

Ironically, the Mavs AM post game show is saying the opposite. They are saying the crowd was lound and they even complimented the Toyota Center. They said it is great place for b-ball and they like it better then their building.

i can root for whoever i like. It's not my fault that there is no home court advantage. In fact I'm doing something about it....i'm traveling from NYC to go to the next home game and i plan on cheering my ass off.

My throat hurts from the game... but you can't put all the blame on the fans for the lack of noise. Its a little difficult to cheer on your team when a whistle blows every freakin play. Here's how my night went..

"YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! WOOOOHOOO WESLEYYYYYY YEAHHHHH!!! 3!!!!!!!" [HI FIVES ALL AROUND]

    Next play..

    "D! FENCE!" *TWEET*

2 Dallas free throws and 20 seconds later...

    "YEAHHHHHH BOBBBBY!"

    Repeat for 48 minutes.

Couldn't agree more. I don't think a fan watching this game tonight could honestly say that the same team focus and energy were there as in the first two games. Even T-Mac didn't play with the same urgency. It was as if his words about having learned a lesson of being up 3-1 and still losing didn't match his level of urgency tonight. Barry seems to always play with enthusiasm. But your team leader(s) just didn't lead like they did in the first two games.

When the Rockets 3rd quarter lead was dwindling I could hear the crowd chanting DEFENSE pretty loud. They may not be as loud as other arenas but I don't think they're totally mum either.

I think you have to give Dallas some credit for playing better defense, the Rockets some credit for missing more shots and playing with less. It adds up to the home court blues the rockets have experienced this season. Maybe it's an advantage for the Rockets to not have home court in the West. What is it about Rockets Red that makes them need to feel the world against them before they perform?

The Rockets let themselves and their fans down big tonight. If they have to go 6-7 games to get out of the first round they may start to run out of gas. They had a golden opportunity tonight to put some rest time in between rounds. Now this looks to go at least 6 games if not 7. And it ain't going to be easy, folks.

    a. home court advantage is overrated.
    b.
too bad, tons of fans were cheering their asses off. unless you can buy off the whole lower section and place the upper bowl people down there, we wont really see the fans getting into it on TV. If you go to the games, there are freakin idiots in the lower bowl that get mad at you for standing up and messing up your view of the last play, fudge that, we need to kick idiots like that out.

and then we have the retarted seinfeld thing that plays before the game saying dont get too rowdy or well throw you out

If you ask me to compare, I had to lower the volume on my TV in game1,2. I had to turn up the volume tonight, and I still couldnt hear our crowd. They really should stop feeding them big Macs, it aint working anymore, they got adaptive.

something they show at the game, they say, dont get too rowdy and show some guy tearing his shirt off and falling all over the place after someone makes a shot, and they say that you can get kicked out for that, blah blah blah.

i think they need to get rid of that, and replace it with the message saying, get loud, get rowdy, get in the game.

If this is true, we need to start a nice little email/feedback blast on Rockets.com notifying them that this is the stupidest thing we've ever heard.

They shouldn't allow those ppl who cannot make their voice over 100 dB to step in the arena.

I was in the lower bowl yelling my ass off, i hardly have a voice right now. My section seemed to be yelling along with me and we were loud, although... we aren't in the club section, which is where the noise really counts.
I believe that this game was the second loudest of the season, behind the Miami Heat game.

Either my section was louder than most of the Toyota Center, or the TV broadcast did not reflect the noise level at TC, because I felt that it was pretty loud in there.
