    ...before they hatch.

    This doesn't apply to everyone, but too many of us are putting too much stock in Game 1. Not just the Rox-j*zz, but everyone else's. Mavs, Spurs, Lakers, Heat, and (hate to say it) Jazz are all very capable of winning their series. (Wizards and Magic don't have a chance I'm afraid.) So let's not get ahead of ourselves, if it was a one-game series this would be an incredible week of basketball. Since it's not, let's stay happy yet focused at the task at hand. Kicking the living Shxt out of the Jazz.

    ya i remember when the spurs lost to denver game 1 in 04/05 season and spurs still won in 5. even if the warriors/ nuggets dont win the series it is still key to make the spurs/mavs work at it. hopefully the series atleast goes 6 games for both of them

    Closer to home....

    We were up 2-0 on the Mavs and coming home for games 3 and 4 and still lost the series.

    yeah i wont even get excited till maybe 3-0... blowing 2-0 was painful in 05

    Oh god don't remind me of 2005. Once I thought we were up 2-0, I'd never thought the Rockets would lose both home games 3 & 4. I was at both them games. The pain of 2005 = :(

    Does it matter if we the fans count our eggs before they hatch? We arent the ones playing the games, all that matters is the PLAYERS stay focused, no need for us to.

    I dont think it is good if you think the series is in the bag, but I have no problem with getting over-excited. That is half the fun after all.

    Hey man whatever. I'll take the letdown for the Joys now. I don't know if anyone else felt but I was going CRAZY after Warriors and Rockets win, sure if they lose series it would be sad, but cheer on as hard as you can while you can. If they lose, they lose, but you don't wanna miss out on the great joy that comes with a win and that hope that this is gonna be the year.

    well we don't want the players reading this and gettting inflated egos over all the Rox love...

    as far as I am concerned... untill the Rox players win 4 games in the Nba Finals... and are kissing that trophy...
