Charles Barkley said he wouldn't come back becaue he thought that if he and Dream were there, it would be one more year before it becomes Steve's team. Maybe it's just me, but this has been his team since Barkley hurt that leg, if not before. You and Dream can only help, not just with W's next year but with guidance for the young'ns. And, if we can't land Croshere, Swift, or Duncan, Sir Charles is better than anyone else that would man the 4 spot. We'd love to have you back, Chuck, and if you care so much about that last memory, why do you want to end it on a putback where you happened to be in the right place at the right time while looking like a cow, and then missing a free throw. Have one more year, play 25 a game if you want, but you're always welcome back. ------------------
it would be fine with me and he played quite well when he was on the team last year, but it would probably just postpone the complete change to young another year but if hakeem is there might as well have charles too. he is pretty happy about retirement though and i don't think he is coming back even though it wouldnt' surprise me didn't he also retire back in 94 and a few other years. but i really doubt he will return...it is going to be tough enough to watch dream stumble around on the court ------------------ Shane "Save Our Rockets" "Life without basketball in Houston........without an arena that is what it will be"
Charles should not come back and play for the Rockets,and if he comes out of retirement(which I doubt)he should play for a contender.....a team that needs a solid veteran off the bench. I am a big fan of Charles, but I don't want him to come back. Time for the team to move on, but more importantly, I don't want to see Barkley come back and get hurt even more than he was this last time.
