This may seem odd, but I have a bit of a problem. First, my father has a yellow lab named Hannah. She is VERY sweet and a great watch dog but she doesn't get along with the other dog in the house very well. She originally belonged to a neighbor of mine who did not treat her well. As a result, she got terrible mange and heart worms which have been treated and taken care of. One afternoon, my wife heard my neigbor hit the dog and my wife decided we had to find her a new home. The next day, the dog was in the driveway and my neighbor scared her under his truck. Rather than try to remove her, he got in the truck and attempted to run her over. The next day, my father picked her up and helped her to recover. She is VERY sweet and outgoing. She is about 5 years old and now in good health. She is still growing hair back - she's been with my father for 6 months - but she looks very healthy. She is also house broken and EXTREMELY intellegent. She has learned things like how to open my father's screen door and how to move her bed around the backyard to where the sunny areas are in the afternoons. She has all her shots and has just completed treatment for heartworms. Anyone interested, please email me. All we would ask is that you allow us to discuss it with you first to make sure you aren't some maniac dog killer. Second, my wife and I have a cat (a one year old black domestic longhair) named Violet. She was a stray who had three kittens under our house. All three of the kittens have been adopted but Violet is really unable to live in the house with our other cats. She has lived in our office for about 5 months and LOVES attention. That is why we need to give her up. We just aren't in our office enough and she needs some people around her at least after work, etc. She would probably be great with kids but she might not do well with other animals. I don't want to take her to any shelter where I cannot guarantee that she will not be put to sleep if no one adopts her. I am willing to keep her until she finds a GOOD home. She is litter trained, has all her shots and is in excellent health. She is beautiful. Anyone interested, also let me know. I'll take Cuttino Mobley in, but I don't know about Big Dog Robinson. Have them give me a call and I'll consider... ------------------ humble, but hungry.
If I knew that I was going to move pretty soon, I'd love to take the cat off your hands. ------------------ When you make an assumption, you make an ass out of yourself and umption. visit www.swirve.com
