All right. Game 1 of the 1st Round of the 2003 Playoffs. Pheonix Suns at San Antonio Spurs. Best team in the NBA vs a mediocre team. SURPRISE!!! Man. What a miracle. Two lucky 3's by Amare and Marbury and Two missed free throws by horrible Tim Duncan. Incredible. The Suns actually won a game in the playoffs...in San Antonio! I'm not sure if they can win anymore but... Do you think the Rockets could have been able to even win one game against the Spurs?
Could we beat the Spurs once? Yes. Would the Rockets or the Suns have a chance at beating the Spurs in a 7 game series. No.
Could we win a game against the Spurs in a playoff series? Answer: Yes The chances however would be highly unlikely. However, I think the Suns are a better team then the Rockets this year. Having Marbury really makes the Sun's a tough opponent to play against. Look for the Spurs to win the next 4 games.
