    Just got back from Key Arena, and I have one thing to say: Erick Pisskowski is a complete disgrace. Good job Leslie and CD of saving the dough. I am sure Pisskowski at $3M per is a better bargain than J-Poz at $5M per :rolleyes:. Just the thought of Pisskowski making more money than JJ makes me mad.

    Where's the outrage? Moochie was making almost same dough as Pisskowski and he wasn't even half as bad. When we he was in the game we were playing like five on three, as Pisskowski counted as a minus one.

    Other than that, fun game. MJ and Padget made key baskets, but are complete manequens on defense...

    He just started out slow adjusting to a new team. He had a subpar year, but I think he'll be fine.

    Hell, he might even hit the shot that wins us the series against the Queens this year in the first round.

    Hopefully we play Minnesota or LA though.

    Moochie was terrible but at least he had some semblance to an NBA player. Check out his game tonight for the Knicks, for example, 21 points to lead the team, 3 asissts, no TOs.

    Pisskowski seriously looked like a complete dork. It was like a bad comedy... we were rolling, Jimmy J. was putting the clams on Ray, making shots, Padget and Nachbar were at least hustling... Then all of a sudden Pisskowski comes in, Ray's eyes got big as pancakes, he starts making shots like in that NBA commercial and all of a sudden a huge lead disappears... Any offense: missed open shots and turnovers. The dude is a disgrace. And he does make more money than Jimmy J., although, it's true it 2.5M, not 3M. Still JJ makes 2.2M and J-Poz 4.7M...

    Pike has been playing pretty bad so far this year and not what we expected, but i woudlnt call him a complete disgrace. He started the season on the IL with a pretty bad ankle sprain and when he came back he wasnt completely healed and lost his spot in the rotation. From then on he has been getting sporadic spot minutes. I think if he was in the rotation and given the minutes his play would be better and his shooting percentage would be alot better. I think he would have been able to get his shot and rythm back if he was in the rotation. Do you not remember when JJ started out the season shooting horribly, but he eventually got his percentage up.

    Piatkowski has been terrible this season for the Rockets, but in his defense a shooter like him needs to time on the floor to shoot himself out of a slump. Another thing that EP brings to the court is reputation and the other teams are less likley to double team the man in the post and leave him open for the shot.

    Mark my words ... Pike will be a hero in one of our upcoming playoff games.

    Yeah, Pike has been playing pretty poorly overall. WHEN he plays. He hasn't been dropping that long-range shot with regularity (sounds like this is a commercial for Metamucil: "But there is a cure...")

    Still, that was his game before we acquired him, and we reasonably expected him to produce.

    But he might have been counting on more playing time to get into some sort of rhythm this year. He and Boki have both been used very sparingly, if at all.

    Last night at Seattle it looked like Happy Hour, White Men's Night: No Rhythm Welcome!

    Sort of like those dorky white dudes at the dance club in Saturday Night Live. In one skit, Jim Carrey (host) joined the original two, so it was pretty funny to watch. I can imagine Padgett, Pike, and Boki as those three.

    (sound of crickets chirping over otherwise ominous silence)

    OK, OK, maybe it was only funny to me.

    Be fair to Pike, man.

    Of couse he's not as hustling as JJ/Boki. We've already known that as CD signed him. What we need from him is 3-points from arc to release Yao while he's open and a good connection with backcourt duo to Yao.

    Unfortunately he hurt his ankle before regular season. We all see what that means:

    *you had to recover at the age of 31 ,especially got injuried for the first time in his 9yrs NBA career;

    *you had to adapt JVG's system without practice;

    *you had to find a chance to show your coach 'I have the ability to play in your style. But did he got the chance to prove himself before JVG? I don't think so.

    IMO, ankle injury really kill his chance/minutes. So I forgive his slump. :p
