    Does anyone know of any CHEAP but decent digital Video Cameras? Any reccomendations?

    I bought a Sharp miniDV camera on eBay for $300. The picture quality is good, and it has firewire and some in-camera effects that work well. I think the retail price of this particular model (it's a Sharp VL-SD20) is under $600, but I don't know what the "street price" is. It's no GL1 or XL1, but it's a decent enough camera.
