    The Canon Powershot A95 is a good 5 megapixel camera that is in your price range if you buy it off the internet.

    I'd be really surprised if you could find a digicam in that price range with an aperature that wide.

    I'd be even more surprised if you found one like that where it would still take good pictures.

    I wouldn't put a HUGE amount of stock in the whole AA battery thing....especially when you can get eight NiMH Energizer rechargeable AA's at Sam's for about fifteen bucks.

    All that being said, I'd also suggest the Powershot A95. Dpreview also says really good things about it.

    I bought the Sony Cybershot DSC-P150 7.2 Megapixel . Im gonna take some nice pictures of the Brazilian Beaches;)
