It looks absolutely ridiculous. The story line (at first) had potential but then they brought in every super hero and all dressed like it was from the 1970's TV shows. The acting was laughable and cheesy. The special effects were horrible too. I doubt I would even rent that on DVD.
Dude, That is a fan film. It was done by people with their own money to inspire a movie. It is incredible..... To say that acting is cheesy in a COMIC book movie is ridiculous, of course it is cheesy, that is the point. Yes, look at it, the story looks very cool. DD
I didnt know that it was done by everyday people. I thought this was some Jack Ass production company trying to be cute. Having a comic book movie doesnt mean that the acting has to suck. Yeah there are going to be some cheesy moments but some of that trailer the acting was just hard to watch. Once again, I didnt know that these werent professionals. The story would be better if they left the superheros (other than Robin) out of it.
It's a fan film And with that in mind, I'm really very, very impressed. No. It ain't The Matrix. It's probably very low budge, and has complete unheard-of actors (who may not be very good). But it's a fan film. If any of us were to build a movie, it probably wouldn't be nearly as good as what Grayson appears to be. I would very much like to see it! -- droxford
Saw it awhile ago and have to say it's bad. It's so ridiculous especially the costoms. Should have made Nightwing instead. I like the concept of Dick Grayson avenging the dead of Batman. But i have to say when SUperman, wonderwoman and Green lantern show up with that ******* awful costumes, it become totally cheesy.
I saw the trailer yesterday I believe. It's pretty damn good looking for a movie made with a budget of 4 credit cards. He also managed to get Kimberly Page, wife of wrestler Diamond Dallas Page, to play Selina Kyle, aka Catwomen. She still looks amazing. I usually absolutely hate fan films, including Batman Dead End (which probably isn't considered a fan film), but this one just looks so well made. What I don't know is if it's actually a movie, or did they just shoot different stuff to make a trailer?

Recently, Tim Drake quit being Robin because his dad found out. Now, Robin is a girl. I thought they were gonna just bring in some chick, but I saw the comic where it happens at a book store and perused it and it turns out this chick named Spoiler, who's Drake's girlfriend or was his gf, takes the job.
The movie stills (how they say in the biz) looks like a Mentos commercial. Entertaining and cheap is what I am saying.

I'm no fanboy, but I think Dick Grayson was the first Robin. EDIT: After watching the "trailer" I would have to say I would certainly see a movie with that as the story line. I think DC has plenty of material to work with, and they need to follow Marvel's lead and start developing movies for more than just their flagship franchises.
