I just noticed like every move that dwight is making on the training video requires like 3 steps.

I'm glad Dream played in the era of great big men. That way no one could ever argue that he was only good for his era. Dream dominated every center out there: Shaq, Ewing, and of course Robinson.

Dream at his peak would just completely crush Howard. Howard is a poor man's Shaq and Dream destroyed Shaq.

Measured against today's best (Kobe), Hakeem is simply head and shoulders above Kobe. Hakeem carried a team of role players to a championship. Kobe has always needed a dominant post player to win his.

DH looks a lot better--esp. his stroke. Would love to see him continue to improve.

False. It was more of a draw which speaks volumes about shaq.

When did Dream "destroy" Shaq? How old were you in 1995?

Some rare dream "hate" going on ITT.

don't tell me you guys think dwight would have a chance vs the golden age of centers.

Howard wouldn't outplay a Robinson/Shaq/Olajuwon/Ewing on the offensive end but I think he could limit them regardless of his deficiencies. They guy is going to end up being one of the greatest defensive bigs ever.

As for Olajuwon vs Shaq, Shaq definitely got his statistically. The difference between Orlando and Houston was that the role players stepped up.

I think Howard would have a chance, but he obviously wouldn't be as good as Hakeem.

But I think Howard could have stopped Ewing.

Just like he has been able to limit Yao, right?

Thanks for the sense. Hakeem didn't "destroy" or even "school" Shaq in the Finals. Shaq and Horace Grant were warriors in that series and have nothing to be ashamed of. But the Rockets combination of Hakeem and experienced role-players was too much for the young Magic.
