the preview for next week though looks good when Dexter injects the guy and looks like he gets shot by a tranq gun in the process
I think I'm most looking forward to the resolution of "Kyle Butler" once Quinn figures it out. I don't know how he's going to get out of that.
Agreed. This season is a little too slow, and a little too much high emotional drama with the (season 4 spoiler) Spoiler kids and death of Rita . Last season started off with crazy stuff having John Lithgow in the tub with that victim right off the bat. I just don't think they can top last season. It's still a good series, but just a little slow right now. I'm sure it will pick up.
sorry bout that. i love the show, and season 4 was the best tv show for me last year (trinity killer having a secret 4th victim in his cycle was just wow). and while its always entertaining to see dexter find, kill and dispose people every week, i would really hate it if his character doesnt branch out from doing whats entertaining for the audience. i thought it was brilliant the way he went from dating rita to seem normal, to marrying her, to having a baby to mask his killer life. last season of him coping with married life was hectic, but seemed real n believable that ppl would just see him as a normal person instead of a serial killer.
i love the fact that he's starting to feel emotions, this season is off to a slow start but i think that would make whatever the twist is that much more impactful
hell ya you will be disappointed when you have to start waiting a week for each episode after getting used to seeing as many as possible
This season has started off slowly, but, in my opinion, they all have. I felt last season was probably the slowest start of all, but by episode 4 or 5 it started to gain steam, and by episode 8 it was an unstoppable freight train. Maybe it's just me, but watching Dexter discover the contents of all those abandoned oil drums was pretty exciting in a sadistic way. That serial killer looks rather sick and twisted.
Dexter is the best show on television. But what the hell are you doing reading a season five thread? I would stay the hell away from any Dexter threads or news.
Quinn is chasing Dexter. Quinn is sleeping with Deb. There's like a 10,000,000% chance his agent is already looking for new roles for him right now. Either one of those things usually leads to death on this show.
I feel like Quinn would relay the information to LaGuerta or the FBI. He doesn't seem to shy about investigating Dexter. Maybe the new thing with Deb would make him hold off until he gathers more evidence?
I wonder how Quinn will be killed. Dexter will not be able to kill him because he is not a murder. He can set him up but I doubt that will keep him from talking. I have a feeling the Trinity Killer's son does not give up Dexter and helps him in some way, not sure how.
The writers set them selves up for such an epic season but its been pretty flat so far I hope they pick up the pace sooner than later
