averaging 23.5 ppg and has 41 in the 4th quarter tonight... Talk about a steal for New Jersey.

Do we have to group him with CP3 and Williams now? (Granted I haven't seen him play this year but the stats are impressive.)

He's not that great of a distributor, but he's undeniably the best slashing PG in the league.

Mavericks are idiots for giving him up.

    complete idiots.

I mean im not sure if you would consider it a 'steal' they did give up one of the all time best pgs in nba history, albeit he is on the decline...

No, he has nowhere near the playmaking ability of the two and his team is nowhere near Utah or NO's level.

Group him in with OJ and Rose as very nice surprises at the PG position.

Slightly above average?? No way. The Mavericks were complete morons for blowing up their team. Should've just gotten a new coach and kept Harris.

I was about to make this thread. That Kidd trade screwed the Mavs - this guy is amazing. 41 points tonight.. took OVER that fourth.

WHAT?? Dude, come on....he's AT LEAST as good as Davis. Chauncey was part of a championship team, so I won't discount his experience, but talent-wise, Devin Harris is MUCH better than "slightly above average"

He's finally developed a mid-range shot and I've seen him confidently drill a few 3-pointers.

I'm gonna watch the 4th quarter of their Suns game tonight after it's archived. I saw Harris take over another game earlier in the season and it blew my mind. I then checked his per game stats and my mind was blown again.

The Kidd trade was a steal. Avery Johnson was the worst thing that ever happened to Devin Harris. He just needed to get away from AJ to blossom.

But OJ and Rose are rookies. Devin is just having a breakout year. When he strings together a couple of consistent seasons and wins, then we can group him in the top 5 pgs in the league.

Id say hes a tony parker type player, and at about the same level as tony parker.

Slashing point gaurd with a great midrange game, serviceable court vision and can create for himself (obviously) and his teammates.

he drives to the basket a lot. shots FT all game long. shoot first type of PG. runs fast break very well. perfect fit for NJ. i would put him at top 3 PF in the east no doubt.

Harris made one less FT than the Suns.

    17-17 vs 18-24

In his last two games, Harris has shot 30 FTs.

Coming into tonight, Rafer had shot 26 FTs this season.

Devin Harris just destroyed Deron Williams and Steve Nash on back to back nights...that was impressive.

harris is extremely fast and can get to the rim at any point but the improvement of his mid-range jumper has allowed him to hit pull-up shots and that really has elevated his game to new heights

Meh, Charlie V had 50......... He is not as good as Baron or Chauncey until he does something consistently and can put up more than 5 assists a night.....

Half the time is teammates are just chillin in the corners watching him drive again and again and again..............

When defenses key in, the dude will get killed............
I'm not buying it.......for a while atleast......But go ahead and drink the kool-aid
