oh man my feet and ankles are still sore from the Navarathri Garba sat night and of course I've got a small bruise on my knuckle since my friend has poor coordinator and hit my knuckle with her dandiyas (for the non-desis reading they are sticks used in a particular dance) yeah but there is one more go around sat night for me it should be fun i got a few numbers and thats always a good thing. There are ones in anaheim every year at the convention center that get pretty big I would say there was at least 1k people there last saturday probably more this sat since its the last one. Are there any larger sized ones in Houston? I figured there would be since there is a big desi community there.
Yeah, I went to Garba on Saturday. They have it every year at George R. Brown Convention Center. My friend's dad says he expected about 5000 folks there. It's pretty crazy.
