    4/9/09 Game Thread

Denver @ Los Angeles -- I think the Lakers can take this. The Lakers have always had the Nuggets number plus they are at home. This is a second night of a back to back for the Nuggets too, I just see LA taking this one.. this game will be huge for us if we are trying to get the 2nd seed. Go Lakers!

The Lakers are just one game behind the Cavs and I'm sure PJ kicked them pretty hard after the poor effort against the Clippers. The Lakers will likely win. If the Nuggets don't play their best, it could be a blowout.

If the Nuggets lose 2 games (LAL & POR) and the Rockets sweep the last 4 games, the Rockets will get to 2nd in standings.

we don't need the 2nd seed. taking any chances with Utah in the first round again is stupid. they're just a horrible match up for the Rox. why take the most difficult road to the championship? if we don't face them and do get to the finals it doesn't make it any less meaningful.

U dont even know where the Jazz will end up. The Hornets go 2-2 and the Jazz go 3-1, then the Hornets will be 7th and the Jazz 6th. The Jazz own the tie-breaker over the Hornets.

All the Rockets have to worry is to win games.

Depending on how things turn out, we could easily tank the last game if the Jazz is still at 7th seed. Don't see how it's stupid at all when the 2nd seed will probably all come down to 1 game. If Denver loses to LA and POR then we'll could control our destiny, depending on how the playoff seeding is looking.

We want LA to win whether or not we want the 2nd seed. If LA starts losing and the best record in the NBA is out of reach then they will shut Kobe and Gasol down or at least limit their minutes. Remember that their last game of the season is against Utah so we want the Lakers to be out in full force for that game so they can knock Utah down to the 8th seed.

Lakers are going to destroy the Nuggets tonight. I expect Kobe and the rest of the starters to be on the bench for the 4th quarter.

I want the 2nd seed, it means 2 series with homecourt. Thank you i'll take that.

Even if it means playing Utah in the first.

i really don't think we'll get second, even if lakers win this. All the nuggets need is 1 win or a rockets loss, while we may win our final 4 games the nuggets have 1 v sacramento so.... 3rd seed is good too

Ironically Cheryl and Reggie are both doing this game on TNT and double-teaming Scot Pollard about her embarressing rant...

Reggie says that he has his money on his sister in a one on one game against Pollard lol.

Just because Cheryl is bigger and stronger than Reggie and can take him to the basket anytime she wants doesnt mean she can do it against someone who actually has used a weight room.

The Miller family is becoming a joke, they need to bring Scot on the TNT broadcast, i would enjoy it much more.
