Demarr Johnson will be a great free agent added to our team. Atlanta have not signed him. Memphis had him in the summer league but did not sign him bc of the crowed SF. At 6'9 long arm slightly underwieght but for a cheap free agent. Not like we have anyone better on the bench.
I would not mind at all if we get get Johnson, he has talent .Iguess the only thing that has kept him from being signed is that there not so sure that he has totally recovered from his car accident.
There no risk. if he is not 100% we play hime less min and sign him to 1 yr contract. but he can turn out to be a gem. also i think griffin is gonna play alot better than last yr. Yao 7'6 Griffin 6'10 Johnson 6'9 Mobley 6'4 Francis 6'3
I would love to sign him to a partially guaranteed contract. The guy is extremely athletic, and has the frame to become a superb defensive player and excellent open-court scorer.
As a former lottery pick, one would think teams would be stepping on each other trying to sign him. This leads me to believe NBA doctors have decided his neck injury is too much of a liability for the team that picks him up. From what I have read, many people believe he is lucky just to be walking around.
I think that's why his summer league showing was so amazing. Everyone had already written him off, saying he was just going to be another scrub, but he produced rather well. I think the Rox should take a chance on him; what do they have to lose?
I would rather sign Demarr Johnson than Stephen Jackson. Jackson has too big an ego - and streaky player. If Johnson 's health will permit -he would be less disruptive. We suck at small forward-what would we lose?
