In today's game where the Kings played the suns kidd was all alone one a fast break and Doug Christie caught up to him for the block. I'm I the only one who was reminded of the same situation when Dream blocked kevin johnson when he was all alone for a fast brak dunk?

Doug's block was actually a goaltend (after replay). Hakeem's was a CLEAN one. [IMG]

I think it's still an amazing effort that Doug went the whole court to attempt the block (when did we see such an effort since we saw Hakeem's? Oh! Maybe Stevie's block on whoever this last season. Pretty amazing too!). It also brought me the memory of Hakeem blocking KJ, but still, Dream's a lot CLEANER. [IMG]

I believe that was Chise blocking Corliss Williamson's shot of the backboard in Toronto this year.

Ahhh. I can still hear the Rap fans ooing and ahhing over Steve's block off the glass. That was pure hustle. Get the ball knocked away, run back 94 feet and block a taller guy's layup.

That was at the highest point that the basketball reached when he blocked it, by the way. Amazing ups. Pro athletes simply blow my mind with how far their bodies can stretch. [IMG]

My point was how identical the two blocks were.

    1. Both were in the playoffs.
    2. Both were against the suns
    3. Both were against phoenix's star PG
