RA is at fault, but the personal has more to do with that.

If you need to double team a guard constantly, you're likely to lose more than double a center. Even Kobe/Lebron don't see double team that often. Rockets simply has one of the worst defensive starting guard combo in NBA if not the worst. That formula won't get us a Championship.

Chuck the starting center. Jeffries the backup center.

While Brad Miller and Jordan Hill warming the bench?

Meanwhile the Warriors are out rebounding us like crazy. And ADELMAN STILL DOESN'T GET IT? ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME?

Also in the last minute of a game, if you are down by 6-8, LAUNCH ****ING THREES.

You can't blame Battier for not being able to guard Ellis. Ellis is a young, quick, explosive 2 guard while Battier is an aging, heady 3. As good of a defender Rondo is, you don't ask him to guard Dwight Howard. It just doesn't make sense. You know what does make sense? Putting Courtney Lee on him. You know how long it took for Courtney to get into the game? FOR-FRIKKEN-EVER. By then he was already on fire and virtually unstoppable, even with Lee blanketing him, which he did.

Also, as well as Chuck played tonight, you need a shot blocker down low, especially when you're struggling defensively. I don't know what Hill did to piss Adelman off, but Rick needs to get over it already and let the guy play, because Kevin Martin is a better shot blocker than our starting center at this point.

Adelman, if you're reading this (which you aren't), I'm calling you out.

Someone remind me who marks the open guy on the warrior's lineup? You know, Curry and the other 3 guys who also happen to be making all their shots.

We don't have 6 guys out there.

The guards weren't on Ellis tonight. That was Shane, which was a poor coaching decision. KMart wasn't bad on D. Aaron needs to quit jumping at jump shooters. That's rookie trash.

Im not blaming Battier, I'm blaming Adelman for, as you said, no substituting the right personnel to handle Ellis.

It baffled me when I read that Hayes was starting as center.

I thought those days were over.

Didn't Hayes lose like 40 pounds so he could strictly play the 4 spot?

    He can't play center anymore!

Why did we pay Brad 5 million dollars for nothing!

Start him in back to backs!

    Sheesh!

Also, WTF did Hill do to you! Play the man! Don't make the same mistake you made with Gerald Wallace!

The whole game I was pretty much screaming "WTF brooks??!!". He really had me scratching my head tonight. I hope that contract dispute doesn't effect him and the team for the worse..

This game showed how much we needed Lowry.

we need tayshaun prince. i am telling you guys, if we cant get a star, this guy is the next best thing. great defense and he can actually make shots and finish strong. and has had a mostly healthy career. he would be a huge addition to our team. trade battier for him. our defense really needs to get better and the pistons are probably looking to trade him. we need to find a way to snag him and ben wallace, that would be huge defense improvement with just those two players.

I mean double Ellis isn't going to solve the problem. We need a bigger stronger quicker guard, not Battier or double team to defend Ellis.

Lee on Ellis was good enough. Lee was practically in Ellis' shorts in the fourth. Too bad it was way too late and Ellis was already shooting hotter than the sun at that point.

Umm no. Prince is waaaaaayyyyy past his prime. He wouldn't be a good addition. Maybe 3-5 years ago..

I could be wrong, but I really doubt Coach Adelman reads Clutchfans.

Normally Ellis is not this on.....they had hands in his face on almost every one of his shots...the defense was there, he just was hot.

On nights like that, you have to force him to pass the ball by changing it up, trapping him on the wings, and zoning off the weakside.

Disrupt his rythmn, it was really poor coaching of Rick just to watch the entire thing, I understand letting it go through 3 quarters, but once you realize that the guy is just hot...and is not cooling off, you HAVE to adjust.

There was no adjustment and the Rox team paid for it with a loss to a horrible GS team.

Come on Tricky Ricky!!! Get your head in the game! Everyone else was get killed on the inside, so might as well let Hill and Patterson play too. I think a Hill and Jeffries combo would have done well tonight.

Don't panic guys this the NBA and some nights you're going to run into games where these guys have it going & (besides obviously double teaming) there's nothing you can really do. Right now good ole coach Adelman has his head up his A$$ on a number of issues, but I believe he'll have to take it out eventually if only to breathe & everything will be fine!

HEY COACH DOUBLE THE GUY WHO'S MAKIN SHOTS FOR THE OTHER TEAM & OH YEAH, PLAY SOME OF THOSE REAL TALL GUYS SITTIN NEXT TO YOU!

Yes RA is a dumbass. So far he has the highest winning percentage of any Rockets coach (.659) and a career of .616 through +1200 games. I forget how people on the GARM travel with the rockets and watch the rockets practice and scrimmage, so they know better (this was directed at ppl in the garm).

Seriously give the coach a little credit and respect even when he does make mistakes. Obviously RA isn't a guy who makes all these little changes. He seems to be a guy with a game plan and doesn't deviate from it.

Finally, our first two games were against the two-time defending champs (who have a good chance at a 3-peat) and a team who has had the most ppg for the last 4 seasons.

hey prince is only 30 and he has a lot more game left in him. i'm pretty sure that he has more game in him than battier does. i am serious. if i was the gm, and there are no other stars available, this is the guy right here. he is just a great, consistent player who you can depend on to stay healthy most of the time. and plus ben wallace is still a monster on the defensive end and can crash the boards and block a couple shots too. i'm telling you guys, if we really are in a win now mode, these players can really help us out a lot.
