Ok so I had lunch with a girl today and everything went well. Weve never talked on the phone and we made plans by texting. Now how long should I wait before I text or call her??? :D

Most people will tell you that you give it at least a day. So if you went out on a lunch date, you shouldn't call her until Friday at the earliest. Girls for some strange reason are turned off by guys that come across as too eager or anxious. Until you know that the girl likes you just as much or more than you, you don't want to come across like you are dying to call her every day.

Text her on Saturday and ask her if she wants to meet up with you and your friends downtown.

There's nothing wrong with letting the girls know that you're money and that you want to party.

Call her tonight around 8:30 and just let her know that you had a good time and enjoyed yourself. This is known as testing the waters, to see if she liked you as much as you apparently like her. Get her Tiger.

Call or text her on Friday and see if she is interested in meeting for a few drinks on Saturday. Do not contact her today or tomorrow.

I used to wait two days. Now everyone waits two days. Three days is kinda money now, don't you think?

there's no point in playing it cool.. just text her now and tell her you had a good time. you will be cooler than the other 95% of the guys who wait until friday or saturday.

Now I met her last week and text each other at least once everyday. Wouldnt it been weird to not talk to her at all for 1-2 days???

    crap, that's different. damned technology...

in that case, perhaps you should just send her one text tomorrow stating that you had a good time.

Dude - still doesn't matter. Look at it this way, if you don't text her or talk to her until Friday afternoon or even Saturday, yea she will probably wonder what is wrong; however, it shows her that you have a life outside of thinking about her and talking to her. Women actually respect guys that have other interests besides them; that changes after you get married. I keed, I keed, but seriously, you want to try to play it cool.

Now if she does text you, then by all means, text her back. You don't want to snub her but let her make the first move. If she does text you, see what she says and you can mention that you had a good time the other night. And you can ask her for another date as long as you come across natural in doing so. But I would definitely let her contact you first until it is Friday afternoon.

I believe the wireless/digital age has shortened the window in this department. the old 2-days/3 days limit no longer applies - other suitors could be texting in your stead.

    Winner.

I disagree. If you meet someone at a club or something, i understand giving it a day, but if it's a quality and classy girl she won't want to play these games.
