Since people don't like trade threads, I decided to put this one in here.

Darko is supposedly making noises about wanting out of Detroit. Any chance that Detroit moves him and would they be interested in a couple #1 draft picks back along with the TE or a player? Would you do this kind of deal if you were the Rockets at this point?

Since no one has seen him play on American soil outside the practice facility who knows if this is the Portland Jermaine or the Phoenix Jake?

This is a sick joke right?

How much do you know of this Darko? Or just trying to jeopardize our franchise? If you do a little investigation you will find out that his country men believe that he will not be as good as his fellow countryman Nenard Kristic [sp??]......yeah that Nenard. Would you give two #1s for the Nets Nenard? I think not. Darko supposedly is a prima donna and does not work hard. I just found all of this out 2 days ago from Detroit Piston's fan websites and some of his countrymen who contribute to other forums on the web. Just do a little research.

Yeah I will take Darko only if we are giving Detriot Gaines in exchange. Anything else could be suicidal.

Darko is still worth a mid first rounder at this point. He's only 19 years old and has all the physical tools to be a good player. However, I don't think that he will help the Rockets. If he can't get playing time under Larry Brown, he won't get it under JVG.

I would give two #1s for Nenad, easily. Nenad is playing real well, I see him at atleast 16/8 in a couple of years. Today he had 12/8 w 2 blocks and 3 steals. Too bad he doesn't play with Nene btw.

I have no idea what Darko's worth is, haven't seen him play. I was just trying to get a gauge on what people feel his potential is worth.

After seeing the start of the Grizzlies game, I'm beginning to think that we need to get Stromile.

just one Euro player I'm willing to trade 1st round picks for, and his name is Dirk (Diggler) Norwitski........and something tells me that if Cuban didn't want Shaq for Dirk, then we aint got much to offer

as for Darko...........that's what everyone gets for listening to Chad Ford

If I had to pick one Euro right now to put on my team it would be AK-47. 4+ blocks a game? Are you kiddin me? He changes the whole complexion of the game with his defense alone. I'd much rather have him than Dirk.

I would use three 1st round pick to get Kirlenko. The Jazz wouldn't do it though.

I still cant see why people was so high on him. they said he was a nowitzki that can post up but his shooting sucks from what i saw the only good thing that i saw in him is that he can move very well for a guy his size just like skita but biggerin built.

you know, I really have to start thinking before I post

Kirlenko too. Peja isn't much on the D end and has chocked big in the playoffs. Ginobli.........I'm not sure. Does a lot of everything, but could he take over a game the way Drik could offensivly or change it the way AK 47 does defensivly.

    Thanks for corecting me DD

He's still young and @ 7ft with a 7-5 wingspan you never know. Maybe a couple of 2nd round picks but I'm not too sure about a 1st, unless it's a very low 1st round pick...

Poor Darko is only worth a couple of second rounders. The guy's stock is just dropping off the cliff.

his price would be extremely unknown right now... of course the Pistons would want a 1st rounder or two and probably take a bad contract of their hands (do they have any?)

but really who knows what he can do?

someone will roll the dice, the boy still has potential and isn't 20 yet and teams are desperate to find the next Dirk

personally for the right price i would take a chance, but of course that is dependent on knwoing what the price is and that JVG is going to give him a chance to play
