Brandon Roy with a quick first step? Actually, probably not a good comparison. I just thought of it from the way Exum glides/dances around. Roy did that too, but more deliberate and deeper in the lane, like he was in slo-motion, yet no one could make him stop his dribble.
Having watched all the summer league games he played in: I think this kid has a bright future, BUT the only plays he made were those highlights. He didn't really do much. I think he will be a legit player though once he starts playing more aggressive, also I'd like to see him as a full time PG. I think if the ball stays in his hand more he will be forced to do more.
In 5 games he averaged 7.2pts, 2.6 reb, 2.8 ast, 1.4 stl, 3 TO, .308 FG%, .167 3FG%, 26.6 min/game Looks like he wasn't too unguardable.

Kevin Pelton's no.1 pick after Embiid got injured http://c296307.r7.cf1.rackcdn.com/lockedonjazz/files/2014/07/7-23-pelton-podcast-part-2.mp3
Exam is amazing, in the guard friendly environment we have now I immediately saw him as the next gen of the Rose/Wall model and he will probably make a ton of noise 3 years from now. Hopefully he can stay healthy, guys like him with mad athleticism tend to wear out their bodies by the time they sign their first max contract.
same watched his game and he played like crap. sure highlight reels can make anyone look good. granted he is still young but there wasn't really anything special during the summer leagues by exum
Highlights are always biased, but that play where he stole the ball from the baseline, won a loose ball, and then smoothly elevated for a dunk was pretty impressive. Shows unusual body control, recovery time, and craftiness on defense. The vast majority of players would have had to shoot a layup from that position, but he made the dunk look as easy as taking a breath.
Reminds me of a young player who I will never root for unless he leaves the God forsaken state of Utah.
Interestingly... Ironically?.... Jerry Sloan would have been great for this kid. Or Hornacek. I don't even know who coaches Utah these days.
