Where do people go clubbing on Fridays these days? Looking for a trendy, multi-cultural dance club that plays primarily hip hop. Obviously most happening clubs are packed saturdays so there isn't a problem there but lately it seems like Friday nights are dead. Any ideas??
You are right, Fridays are pretty dead for clubs. Gatsby's has a decent crowd on Fridays, but it's far from multi-cultural. Drink Houston is pretty lame, but it's packed on Friday's and it is culturally diversed. mc mark - Riches is now called 2401 San Jacinto.
Ummm, I'm pretty sure straight night was on Thurs. Hope you didn't pick up any chicks on a Fri. Seriously though, Rich's was probably the best dance club I've ever been to. When I was in highschool (mid '80s) I used to use my brother's license to get in. Some nights my best friends in highschool (Sherri and Lisa) would close out Rich's and then jump the fence at the West U. pool and go skinny dipping. Good times.
Well I did get a few good propositions! Yes! Now that you mention it. It was Thursday nights. And you're right! Rich's was LOT"S O FUN!!!!
Uropa is awesome on Fridays. My only problem is I'll probably be bring like 25 people with me. I'm sure it's not a problem but that place gets crazy packed on it's own already. Nice crowd though.
