I don't think anyone had mentioned Langhi before the draft as a possible choice...I would like to know if people think that he will make the team, and if, if he will have any impact. Has anyone ever personally watched Langhi play? From what I have read, he seems to be a steal with a pick in the thirties. Some have said that he is another Matt Bullard, but the quotes about him and his stats don't quite support that (although in his bio, it says "(...(he is)...an outdoorsman who likes to
hunt and fish...". While Bullard is more like a spot-up pure 3-point shooter who is kind of slow, opposing coaches describe Langhi more like a Nowitzki kind of player who can score from outside, but who also has a quick enough first step to go inside and score from there. Also, his free-throw numbers are very impressive.
Does anybody know why his assist numbers are so extremely low?? Is it just because he had nobody to pass the ball to at Vanderbilt or is it because he can't pass or because he is a selfish player? His bio said that he once played point guard, so his assist numbers are weird.
Is there anyone who thinks that Langhi could become more valuable than Collier for the Rockets?

What are teams going to do when the rockets have Mobley and Langhi coming off the bench. Langhi can score in bunches and is much more athletic than most rocket fans think. He came out of one of the toughest confrences in the country and has had every type of defense thrown at him known to man and still lit teams up. With 15 to 20 more pounds he probably would have gone near the middle of the draft. To see the rockets give up a future second round pick for him tells you that they really have plans for him in the coming years. Langhi is a scorer while Bullard is a 3point specialist. This move may have put the rockets in a position of not having to go out and spend a lot of valuable cap space on a free agent small forward. The rockets will now have two big gunners in Mobley and Langhi coming off the bench.

Teams wont have to do anything with Langhi. When Mobley comes off the bench he is going to isolate and not pass the ball. So langhi will just watch mobley play. [IMG]

Dan sorta looks like Kiki Vandeweghe. Probably similar games too.
