    NBA teams should have some sort of clause in their player contracts that the team can TOTALLY VOID it if players get in this kind of trouble. I mean really, how many times is this dude going to get caught? It is embarrising! And you know the Blazers would love to kick him and his bloated contract to the curb! Ridiculous!

    It's drug tests, I believe, but they can suspend him for off-the-court actions as well. Re: Glenn Robinson's recent suspension.

    if your dumb enough to put weed in a bag or suitcase that will be checked/x-rayed/hand searched..then you deserve to be busted..

    PHOENIX -- Damon Stoudamire was arrested again on mar1juana charges, after allegedly trying to pass through an airport metal detector with almost 1½ ounces of the drug wrapped in aluminum foil, police said Monday.

    They are going to put him in a drug therapy program....well they should have done this after the first incident! Or maybe he should move to Canada....where it's not gonna be illegal.

    So technically is Carter allowed to smoke the good stuff just cause he is in Canada?

    All the ganja smokers should demand a trade to Toronto if thats the case.

    THe Blazers are trying to get Stoudamire's contract voided, but their lawyers so far haven't found a clause that would allow them to do so. Alot of entertainers have "moral" clauses in their contracts, but as far as I know the NBA doesn't (part of the union/owners compromise).
    I am not a fortune teller, but I have to think that Damon will be dealt to a another team for equally useless players/contracts. Steve Patterson has been preaching morals....... say good buy to Sheed, Stoudamire and the rest of the "puff, puff, pass" group
