Just wanted to let those who are interested in hearing the Dallas media cover the talk, this site is a good listen. They are chatting Mav/Rocks right now. FYI http://www.theticket.com/listen.htm
Wow...I just turned it on and heard the dj call Dallas "God's Country" and said that "Houston is hell." And said he doesn't like being at this "foreign car arena" here in Houston. My hatred for Dallas is growing by the second.
Oh....and our arena is "Stone Cold Houston ugly." Wow! This is the stream I'm listening to: http://www.espn1033.com/listenlive.asp From 3:00PM Randy Gallaway
The Ticket is crap. 103.3 is one to listen to. But you'll hear the same crap all over Dallas. It sucks.
I've had them on for 30 mins and so far they havent talked sports only TONS of dumb sound effects and talking about famous peoples birthdays I thought this was a sports show...
Most of the time, I listen in the morning when I go to work - Mike and Mike. Then on the way home, it's usually that dumbass Galloway or the Maverick-thinks-he-knows-it-all Chuck Cooperstein.
It was a sports show up until I posted it. So please forgive me for the Dallas media being a bunch of jackasses. My bad!
The Ticket talks sports about 25% of the time their on the air. the other 75% is about music, TV, politics & everything NOT sports.
Try the other one. This Galloway kook is at the Toyota center, or in his words "the foreign car center" and the kooks on a roll.. so far Houston is the "city of brotherly sweat" "mosquito land" "from hell, better known as Houston" "lucifer land" on and on..
Wow...I'm listening to the Galloway show right now and man is it hard to listen too...I'm actually impressed on how bad the show is so far.
Hey..any of you other Dallas folk wanna get together at that BW3 on 635 in Irving tonight for the game? Wife & I will be going to one of the BW3's & if anyone else is showing up, we'll make the trip out to that one.
Man, I feel bad for b****ing sometimes about the sports radio we have here. These guys in Dallas are absolutely horrible!! Why do people in Dallas have accents that sound a lot more "southern" than people in Houston? Or is that just my imagination?
Personally, I never waste time paying a damn bit of attention to anything anyone from Dallas has ever said about Houston. It's a sick, latent, little jealousy that they have always had but can't bring themselves to admit it. It's all part of the age-old "I'm-from-Dallas-and-you're-not" attitude that permeates the Cowboy fans and others like them (Mark Cuban, for one). Screw 'em. The only thing good coming out of that place is I-45. Rockets in five!
