Dallas Covets Reggie 27th February, 2007 - 11:49 am Dallas Morning News - No way of knowing how serious it is yet, but Reggie Miller could be a candidate for the Mavericks' vacant roster spot. Owner Mark Cuban brought up Miller's name before Monday's game against the Hawks. The former Indiana Pacers star is the No. 1 3-point shooter in NBA history. He retired after the 2004-05 season, but remains in excellent physical shape. link
Reggie was pretty adamant on the Dan Patrick show that he has no interest in "chasing a ring" and no desire to play again. He is also quite proud to be a rare "career one team guy" This is Cuban being Cuban. He also tried to sign Reggie late last year.
Mark Cuban seems bound and determined to make a move every year that isn't really going to do anything other than mess up the chemistry of a team. I can't remember them doing any moves during the season last year and they had the most successful run in franchise history. Let them do some more silly trades like picking up Keith Van Horn.
That article was written by Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News...didn't Sefko used to work for the Chronicle?....TRAITOR!!
Where have you been? A few weeks ago, Sefko also said Nowitski has overtaken Olajuwon as the greatest foreign born player ever. He's been in Dallass for years.
What an idiot...Don't get me wrong, Dirk is a great player, but Dirk has no rings, yes, that's plural...
