Given that Morey keeps saying they will take the best talented player, not necessarily the more ready or able to help next year, does that make Daequan Cook an option. He could very well be at 26, and given a couple of years could be a great SG. He would probably be one of the best talents left at 26.
I was thinking the same thing. I was reading the detroit news this morning and in the mock draft under houston it said they would choose cook. "This might be a reach, but Cook has had phenomenal workouts . THe rockets were said to be wowed by his strength and versatility. He is better long-range shooter then most thought."
