http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/news/local_regional/fram_soap12312002.htm A 34-year-old man is accused of restraining his wife while she tried to call police to report that he had poured liquid soap in their 4-year-old son's mouth. The father wonders why the case has gotten so much attention. "We don't really hit our children ever," he said after being arraigned. Isn't that ridiculous? What is wrong with people today?
No doubt...I can't count the number of times I had my mouth washed out with soap...used to be a common punishment for cussing when I was a kid..along with having to break off and bring back the stick that dad would use to spank us with...ah...ppl are such wimps these days...
I think this is why it is getting attention. It really has nothing to do with the soap: "Police say Scabia held down his wife for 15 minutes while she tried to get to a phone and dial 911 Friday night." Still...
geez, I know, such wimps. I mean, I remember when my dad used to light my arm on fire, or throw me off the roof onto a bed of upward pointing nails, or even tie me to his car and drag me along bumpy dirt roads for hours. Kids these days...such wimps...
