The Knicks haven't won in 40 years, the Lakers are stuck with Kobe and until they can make him go away they can't really even start the rebuild, and the Heat are nothing without Lebron. The odds of any of those 3 teams turning things around and becoming a contender again in the next 3 or 4 years are pretty poor.

Seriously, the Knicks are where careers go to die.

I can't remember the last time a big signing has gone well for them starting all the way back from Marbury.

Like I said before, I'd like to get Collison if Dragic goes to Sacramento because we would most likely surrender little to no assets for him. Then, utilize some real assets to get Afflalo or Chandler from Denver.

    Beverly/Collison
    Harden/Afflalo
    Ariza/Brewer
    DMo/Smith
    Howard/Dorsey

    Talk about deep.

The Knicks are basically the Cubs of the NBA

Like with Melo, he wants rings, but rings are at the bottom of his list.

Suns are screwed, they have no leverage. Better get what they can for the guy

I like this idea but I would prefer to go for Afflalo (James can slide to the PG for spots) and someone like Kanter or Collison and Kanter

Anyone here getting all bent out of shape about the situation hasn't paid enough attention to NBA trade. There is always drama around any good talent becoming available and there will always be many teams chasing the guy whether we are talking trades or free agency.

Of course multiple teams will be chasing Dragic. Of course PHX and Dragic will evaluate all of their options. Happens with every one of these stories.

Goran is sticking it to the Suns for trading him to the Rockets. He had always planned on doing this when he signed in Phoenix for a second time.

Agreed. That's the biz they're in. I can respect it.

From your perspective, or from the agency side, do you think he has much off court earning potential?

    Kobe has 1 year left.

Heat aren't the only team without LeBron.

Suns beat writer who is usually reliable says he keeps hearing Dmo name come up and Dmo alone wouldn't be enough the Pels pick would have to go along

    Collison and Plumlee to Houston
    Dragic and Papaniko to Kings
McLemore, Stauskas, Jones and Pelicans 1st to Suns

    Do it, Morey.

Seems like we could do a bit better for that trade package, no?

I am definitely on board with Collison if the Kings go for Dragic, though.

Rockets will take custody of little bro as part of deal, if nothing else but to gain a little more leverage in resigning him this summer.

Goran, Zoran and Plumlee for NOP, Terry, Shved and Dorsey.
