This is something I started noticing in the first few weeks of the season and it hasn't stopped. Cuttino is all about stats and making the all-star team. He looks for the shot almost every time, even if he has a perfect pass right in front of him. The only times he doesn't shoot is when it is just too obvious that a pass is the right move. I keep hearing him say "Me and Steve want to be all-stars" but haven't heard him say "this team wants to make the playoffs." Hopefully it'll start to change ------------------
I AGREE. He's a nice player, but sometimes he can be SUCH A SELFISH BALL HOG. I personally like Cat and his game, but he puts up too many wild shots and passes. If he hasn't already gotten numerous tongue-lashes from the coach, Rudy needs to speak up. ------------------ The best is yet to come. Go Rockets!
First of all Cuttino is an offensive player. As an offensive player you look to shoot. And Cuttino's comments on the All-Star game were - "I have personal goals ... I want to be an All-Star, and you might have a better chance if you start," Mobley said. "But I want people to say, 'Hey, he's consistent.' I want Steve (Francis) and me to be All-Stars, and making the playoffs gives us a better chance of doing that." Of course Cuttino wants to make the All-Star Team. Remember the offseason when Cuttino resigned with the Rockets? Why do you think he resigned? ------------------ Cuttino Mobley Online vote.cuttino-mobley.com Cuttino and Steve for 2001 All-Star Team
