I don't think Mobley will be leaving. However, he would be remiss to not visit with teams and see what they are offering. Don't have a panic attack if Mobley does visit Detroit or any other team. It only means he's looking at his options, it doesn't mean he's leaving (the same applies to Duncan and would to Grant Hill if it wasn't for those "I'm leaning" comments).

If Cuttino leaves (I hope not) do you think Sam Mack would be a good back up for us again?

Could Cuttino be stupid enough to want to play with Grant-less Piston squaud going no where except lower than the Rockets where last year?

It's a Detroit News article and it just says Joe Dumars "hopes" to bring in a bunch of guys, one of them being Mobley:

Among other free agents Dumars hopes to bring in are Portland power forward Brian Grant, Clippers power forward Maurice Taylor (U-M), Indiana power forward Austin Croshere, Houston guard Cuttino Mobley, Portland guard Greg Anthony and Utah guard Howard Eisley (Detroit Southwestern).

Cuttino wouldn't go to Detroit. If Cat were to leave, which I seriously doubt, he would go to a team where he could be a starter. The Pistons already have an All-Star SG in Jerry Stackhouse. If Cuttino were to ever leave, which again he won't in all likelihood, it would be to a team that could offer him a starting spot.

The Pistons have a good chance of a sign and trade with the Pacers for Jalen Rose. If they do, next year they will be the favorite to sign Chris Webber. Mobley would be a great addition to that lineup.

Cuttino's just doing what anyone would do in his position. Of course he is going to visit other teams and listen to offers. However, I think that he will end up staying in Houston because of his friendship with Francis, and we are one of the most up and coming teams in the league.

Mobley was just in Toronto talking to the Raptors. Toronto has around $6,800,000 to get a PG and a replacement for McGrady.
