I read this on hoopworld and i got and idea.

JACKSON STILL WAITING: Mark Jackson says he’s still interested in the NBA, and is waiting for the phone call. In speaking with Steve Luhm of The Salt Lake Tribune, Jackson said he doesn’t understand why he hasn’t been called, but says he’s ready saying "There are a lot of teams out there that have young point guards who are learning on the job. If anyone wants to speed up the learning process, I think I can help. I've been a starter and a backup in this league. I don't have an ego." Jackson’s name has been mentioned in connection with a number of teams, but nothing has materialized. Jackson’s name has been run through the mud regarding his last stint in Utah, where he was labeled as a person responsible for dividing the locker room. Sources in Utah would not comment on the specifics, but said there were times when Coach Sloan was frustrated with Mark and that has gotten around to others in the NBA.

How about cut/waive moochie and sign Mark Jackson a veteran who has experiance with a big man (Rik Smits). I think he would be the perfect compliment to SF and company.

Why cut him when they still gotta pay him.

It's not like Mooch is intentionally sucking, it's just his natural ability shining through. Just wait until he wins another game with a buzzer beater.

It's not like I'm defending him or anything, I'm pre-defending him, or pretending him. [IMG]

Mark Jackson is the last person you want to add on your team. Last year, he introduced something to the Jazz team that was never there before --- politics. He destroyed their team chemistry by being a cancer in the lockerroom. Some people speculated that his behavior in away contributed to the retirement of John Stockton, whom many thought was going for one more year.

Up until now, I forgot how many buzzer beaters he had 2 seasons ago. Man, he must have really sucked last year, oh wait, he did, dont remember him playing in the 4th quarter that much at all.

After saying all that, I still support the guy. He will find his niche eventually, and our success doesnt rest on this guy's shoulders, give the man a break.

I am sure they would be cutting Mooch, EG, and Taylor if it weren't for the fact that they would still have to pay them. Sorry buddy but we have to work with the contracts. Hell Orlando would have cut Grant Hill by now if they could.

Lets finish paying off Matt Maloney before we begin the process of paying another point guard 5 mill. a year to sit at home.

I believe this is the first year of not having MM on the books. Sad thing is, I rather have MM on my team than Mooch.
